Where We Are
We are located approximately one half mile South of the City of Spooner, Wisconsin on County Highway 253.
Driving Directions:
Coming South from Spooner, on Highway 63, turn left onto 253 just before reaching the State Patrol headquarters. Follow 253 until you see the church on your left.
Coming from Shell Lake, take County Highway B to Highway 253. Turn north on Highway 253 and drive approximately three miles until you see the church on your right.
About Our Community:
Spooner, named for a nineteenth century railroad attorney, is the largest city in Washburn County, Wisconsin. It is a city of about 2,500 people. Washburn County is the second county south of Wisconsin's northern border and its second county east of its western boarder. Tourism, logging, manufacturing, retail, and government are significant sources of employment in the area. Spooner is home to a hospital, a public school, and regional headquarters for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Wisconsin State Patrol. It is also the home of a regional hub of the U.S. Postal Service. Spooner lies in a transition zone between Wisconsin's agricultural district and the northern forest.
