Who We Belong To

We are part of the Church of the Nazarene.

The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to  Make Christlike disciples in the nations.

The church of the Nazarene is an evangelical denomination with churches all over the world. We affirm the historic creeds of the Christian faith, that Jesus Christ is the only Savior of mankind, that salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and in the inspiration of Scripture. As part of the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition we also believe in a deeper experience with the Holy Spirit following salvation, which helps us to become more like Jesus Christ.

The Spooner Church is part of the Wisconsin District of the Church of the Nazarene.
