2 John 2-3
For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and
shall be with us forever. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God
the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and
love.

5. Our text speaks of mercy and peace coming from God. Truth comes from God. a) What do these character traits say about God? b) How do these qualities influence our relationship with God? c) If God weren’t like this, what would the Gospel be like, or would there be a gospel?
